Before you panic — no, he’s not dead. I know, the last time we did an episode about the work of a single director was our Wes Craven Retrospective shortly after he passed, but this time we’re just doing the episode because we just really, really like John Carpenter movies. Guys, there’s something off on the sound levels on this one. Michael mostly sounds fine, but Jennifer seems to keep fading out, nearly inaudible at times.
Yeah, we know. Sorry, I probably should have mentioned it in the blog post. We’re still getting used to the new digital audio recorder, and my best guess is that maybe the batteries were starting to run out. We will use fresh batteries next time and see if that improves it. I did my best to clean up the audio before I posted it, but there was only so much that could be done. Sorry! And thanks for making sure we knew.
