Welcome back, deer listeners, as it’s time for another episode of Don’t Read the Latin! This time, Jennifer Lovely and Rhias Hall are coming atcha with their favorite movies about our domesticated buddies taking matters into their own paws! Side note: Rhias says the movie Roar is about lions, but I seem to remember it being about tigers. I think this bears more research. Oh, my!

DRtL is back after its bye week to bring you more horror goodness. This time Jennifer is joined by Handsome Boyfriend Jim to talk about how to share the movies you love with someone you love. Jen and Jim have a lot of common ground, but also some divergent tastes in films, so if you’ve ever wondered about how to broach the subject with your better half, this one’s for you!

DRtL Episode 36: What We Want To See In 2016!

Last episode, we took one last look at 2015, and this time out, we’re looking ahead at the year to come, as we discuss new releases we’re looking forward to (and some we’re not.)

While we’re at it, we also talk a little bit about what we’d like to see from horror movies in general, and we talk about other things we enjoyed in 2015 that didn’t qualify for last episode’s topic. Also, Jennifer talks about why she’s not that crazy about Benedict Cumberbatch; Michael discusses his love of horror movies that clearly spell out a rigid set of rules, and oh so much more.

DRtL Episode 30: Wes Craven Retrospective

Apologies for the delay with this episode — it’s even later than we said it was going to be when we said it was going to be late.

We needed a little extra time to pull this one together. We were both saddened to learn of the recent passing of Wes Craven, who pretty much single-handedly reinvented the horror movie genre over the course of his career — not just once, but three times.

Montoure talks about movies that make you feel unsafe, Jennifer talks about getting to meet Robert Englund, and so much more.
