Don’t Read The Latin! Episode 109: Mothers!

Posted on Mar 02 2020 in Episodes

Hey there, horror fans, Jennifer Lovely and Rhias Hall are coming at you with a short and sweet episode where they talk about not just the movies with mothers, but the roles they play in them. There’s still a lot of movies to check out though, just bundled under archetypes!

And yeah, the monster in Beneath looked like a huge catfish.

  1. Speaking of scary moms, if you’re a fan of Diana Rigg (Emma Peel of “The Avengers,” Olenna Tyrell on “Game of Thrones”), I highly recommend “Mother Love,” a four-part British TV thriller from 1989/90, in which she plays a middle-aged divorcée who winds up deep in Medea territory when her son’s marriage brings various secrets to light. Fellow ‘sixties icon David McCallum (Illya Kuryakin of “The Man from UNCLE,” Donald “Ducky” Mallard on “NCIS”) has a supporting role as her ex-husband.
