You won’t find any 25 year old teenagers with perfect skin here, just cranky codgers and the middle-aged maladjusted.

However, they didn’t hit my favorite, once-more-into-the-breach horror movie, Bubba Ho-Tep. Who doesn’t want to watch elderly Elvis and black JFK fight a mummy in a retirement home? Hopefully no one I know. Enjoy!

I know, the last time we did an episode about the work of a single director was our Wes Craven Retrospective shortly after he passed, but this time we’re just doing the episode because we just really, really like John Carpenter movies. We would have had this episode done much sooner, but we were delayed by Michael’s illness and then Jennifer’s surgery, almost as if we were …. cursed. Hmmm.
